Terms of Service
Welcome to Cool GameX (“we”, “us”, the “Platform”). By creating an account, downloading the launcher, or buying a game or DLC, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Platform.
1. Accounts
You must provide a valid email and keep your login secure. You’re responsible for activity on your account. You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your country (and at least 13).
2. Purchases & payments
Paid games and DLC are sold through our payment processor (Stripe). Prices are shown before purchase. When you buy an item, it’s added to your library and tied to your account.
3. Refund policy
Refunds are returned to your original payment method. We may decline refunds where we detect fraud or abuse (for example, repeated buy-refund cycles).
4. Your content
If you’re a developer publishing on Cool GameX, you keep ownership of your games. You grant us permission to host, list, and deliver your builds to players who own them. You’re responsible for having the rights to everything you upload.
5. Acceptable use
- Don’t share, resell, or redistribute games you don’t own the rights to.
- Don’t attempt to bypass payment, ownership checks, or download protections.
- Don’t abuse, attack, or disrupt the Platform or other users.
6. Disclaimers
The Platform is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. Games are created by their respective developers; we don’t guarantee they’ll be error-free or always available.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we’re not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the last 3 months.
8. Changes
We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
